Take the editing flow for a spin
- Edit the name and introduction, then save. Refresh to check your saved sample.
- Make another change and cancel. Your last saved version should remain.
- Clear the name and use “Test server validation” to see linked field errors.
- Restore the sample to clear your saved demo values.
Use fictional details. This demo stores the sample in a browser cookie, without an account or database.
For Go developers: pages and fragments
This demo uses ordinary links and forms, so each action loads a page. It also supplies HTMX attributes and a fragment response contract for applications that load their own HTMX runtime. This example loads no JavaScript.
Try the fragment endpoint from a terminal:
curl -H 'HX-Request: true' 'http://127.0.0.1:8080/editing?edit=1'Add HX-History-Restore-Request: true to receive a complete document. The same form renders on either path.
